Now, this takes the cake. Allan Seymoure
was granted permission to open his
Allan Seymoure Summer Camp at Surf
Beach San Onofre. Wouldn't be grand if
he could obtain Josh Baxter to be Camp
Director. The SOSC BOD, Al Yee especially,
will be pleased as punch now that they've
run that Allan Seymoure's Dog&Pony show
out of town and they can get back to their
bocci-ball wine drinking procession back
and forth on that silly dirt road. I love it when
one player knocks the others ball out of the
way, and they all hoot.

It's nearly a week since Allan's World Famous
Quicksilver at San Onofre State Beach, and
people are still pissed. Allan took a week off
to celebrate his windfall profit of last weekend.
Presently, he is on the BODY GLOVE sixty
footer heading to Costa del Oro with Bobby
and Billy Meistral. It's a good thing he got
out of town when he did, people are really
pissed at him. Although, I didn't see heat
sheets I thought the adjudicating was
right-on. Why grown men squabble over
a child's pastime is beyond me. Nobody
griped about Bing Copeland's tribute to
David Nuuhiwa at the antiquated palm frond
shack, so what's the big deal. C'mon gang, get
over with it. If Mr. Seymoure can come up
with $2,500.00, I'll gladly judge the thing.
Remember, the camera doesn't lie.
Anyways, where's Tom Turner when we
need him?

Back then at Malibu, Gidge had the knack
of spreading Magic Pixie Dust over the
sand. This weekend it was Allan Seymoure's
shot at it, and he scored. Big time! He put the
fun back in surfen', finally. Doug Craig, Bobby
Lombard, da' Hui, State Lifeguard paddlers,
Surf Mag publishers, Bing Copeland's Magical
David Nuwavvi model, Henry Ford's control
of the contest's heat, Ranger Dairywimple
monitoring illegal surfboard sales on the
beach, Rabbit Kekai Longboard Director
Jim Reynolds, Herbie Fletcher's look-a-like
contest winner, and NALU'S famous outdoor
recipe booth, it certainly was a historical weekend.
Mr. Seymoure, you deserved all the credit in
the world for what you did to raise surfing from
the dead. Yeah, I'll be ther next year.
