Inflation finally caught up with us. Yes, they have abolished CA Annual Pass. This is fact. Any doubts go to San Onofre, try to buy one, impossible. The entrance cash fee has tripled to $30.00 per car/$10.00 per bicycle. This is legislated by the State. No exceptions. You play, you pay.
What is going on here anyways. If it wasn't one thing it was tuther. So, if they get things straight I'm a player, if they don't then deal me out. There's too much going on in this cockamamie word. I've had it up to here, I'm reasy to bail., th at's for sure.
It comes as no surprise. Dirtiest beaches in continental USA, two are in Southern Cal. Yes, Diaper Beach in Dana Harbor, the other "The Point' at San Onofre State Beach, No.San Diego County. Try as they may they cannot rid those places of ongoing pollution. Obviously, older feller's and infants are the culprits. It would be no surprise if they renamed the point Hemorrhoid Cove
Whatever caused the clog in Bldg. #1, toilets 1&2 was solved yesterday. Apparently the older fellers at the North end of San Onofre, that they refer as 'The Point', all suffer from piles that destroy the septic system. The head sewer maintenance superintendent declared at their age it was inevitable. A 6,500.00 bill was presented to the SOSC BOD for relief, claiming Point surfers are Club members.
TODAY IS THURSDAY. TODAY THE sTATE INSTALLS the new sewer systen at the 'phantom point' located when you first enter the beach on the depressing cow pastrure dirt road. The reason, raw sewer spilling from Bldg. #1, toilets 1&2 has seeped into the alredy polluted Pacific Ocean. Sigs will be posted by Lifeguards to enter water cautiosly due to the risk of serious infection.Raw sewage also attracts the GWS population.
Just this mornrnin we faced a dilemna which we split. The unsightly dilapidated lean-to a.k.a Ol'Man 's will be painted fire-enfine red, the road s,kall be resurfacedc with asphalt, striped in day-glow yellow with huge block numbers for easy identifiation. Thank you.
2009 has been a dismal year for San Onofredo beach that's for sure. That is unless you are a 'Club' member. Nope, they're not going to pave their 'Sacred Cow' dirt road. Nope, they're not going to remove their insidious splinter laden logs. Best of all, they're leaving that dilapidated shack with the dried up, withering palm fronds, untouched, just in case Eddie, and Barney, and that lot return from the dead for one final walk dow n the road.
DELICIOUS TO SAY THE LEAST, AND PLENTY FOR ALL.
They are back, and they're flaunting it bigger and better than ever, that's for sure.
