THIS REALLY TAKES THE CAKE. For years the "Hallowed Shack of Palm Fronds" a tribute to all 'Nofre Legends is at the mercy of SOSC BOD. The Board wants the Monument renamed "CITY HALL" honoring Board meetings, Luau Headquarters, Club business, and all sundry items. The 3,400 membership will not be able to vote. It appears to be a done deal effective 3/13/2004. All Club Tee-Shirts will be on sale 24/7 at "City Hall". No permits are necessary for the Club. As we all are aware annual dues have increased to $20.00 with no refunds issued under any circumstance. So, 3,400 members times $20.00 is a profitable $68,000 per month, all profit. No wonder the Club wants "Hallowed Shack of Palm Fronds" renamed "City Hall". Just a timely reminder, Park entrance swells to $379.00 per annum, July 1st, this year. It's cheaper to go to Disneyland, nowadays. Way to go BOD.

Because of am inept SCGE, City Council, AAMCOR, and Faire Habour BOD,
TODAYS BLOG WILL NOT APPEAR. THEY ARE SHUTTING DoWN AN ENTIRE COMMUNITY for a goddamn day for "scheduled mantainance". Reminds me of "MEX 1" between Tijauna and Ensenada. If those clowns don't botch it, we'll be back manana en la manana. Btw,
who's gonna reset all programmed electronic equipment. Everythings going out!

WE TRY TO KEEP THIS BLOG REAL, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. Here's how the "grass roots people feel": Hi, my name is Samantha (call me 'Sam'), we reside in Talega Heights and, boy, are we glad that pesky Retail Clerk's strike is over. OMG, how awful was it having to drive to Monarch Bay's Gelsons for provisions. By the time we drove there and back to Rancho San Onofre we had to sit in that god awful hoi-paloi line waiting to get to our favorite beach ." Well, there you have it. A lot of inconvenience was caused by those 19 year old part time strikers. One bright side of life, Gov.Arnie got his prayers answered with the election giving him carte blanch for "It's for the children" plea. Bush knows he's on his way out so he allows gas prices to soar "sky high". Well, he is an "oil man" isn't he? Don't you forget, State Park Fees increase way up to $379.00 for you're Annual Pass, 7/1/2004. Like Bush and Gov.Arnie say, "The sky's the limit".

SO I FORGOT WEDNESDAY'S. IT'S HUMP DAY, REMEMBER NOW? I received 10 emails and a Western Union Xpress Wire all from the local San Clemente, Dana Point/ San Juan workabillies. Thanks gang! Also half of them mentioned Saturday (My night to howl)
and Gospel Sunday to fill out the week's cliches. The surf festival was postponed yesterday due to [because of] inclement weather. It was rescheduled for next weekend, weather permitting. "San Onofre Kings" will battle the "Doheny Longerboard Dons". Once you get by the toll booth, admission is free. First prize will be a Perpetual Trophy given at the contest conclusion. Judges will be SOSC BOD, all world class adjuticators under the watchful eye of Ranger Pro-Tem "Enforcer" Ephriam. I predict the largest score on a 1 to 20 will be an 8. These judges are conservative.

THANK GOODNESS, THE OSCAR'S ARE OVER FOR ANOTHER YEAR. Let's get back to "keeping it real". Start with today, it's Blue Monday. Which means tomorrow's Taco Tuesday, I forgot what Wednesday is, after that it's Queer Thursday, then TGIF. Remember now? So, what's next, St.Patrick's Day, then Cinco de Mayo just after March Madness. No matter how you play it down, Rancho San Onofre's a Party Beach, big time!
What's the name of The Beasty Boys hit single? Like Wednesday, I forgot. The only tune Why remember is "Why Do I Hate Mondays", by the BoomTown Rats.

THIS IS SHORT AND SWEET, BECAUSE REAL SANO SURFERS ARE DOWN THERE, having their trendy OSCAR PARTY, sucking up Champange with strawberrys, getting their Oscar pool selection, and gearing up for tonight. This is what SANO'S all about: Trendiness.
A sidebar, the real guys are drinking Bud Light.
