I'm b a a a c c k k k! Got to San Onofre Pier late this morning and was, once again, disapointed by this surfless spring season. The only bright spot was NeoN/BIGKOOK Boogie Boarding exhibition team doing "el rollos". Wow, are they brilliant, but they make it look simple. We're all going to THEBIGKOOK'S Barbars Striesand look alike beach mansion and listen to "oldies" all afternoon. Btw, the best of contest went to Leashless Larry for thrilling us all with his perfomance on a styrofoam ice chest top. Great show ,"Leashless". Tomorrow, there may be a funny side at the beach. Okay, kids, here's the skinny. TGIF, 5:45 AM on the San Onofre Pier, waves are there, I just can't see them but you can hear the thunder when they pound the reef. Sun's rising behinf the SONGS dome, except for the concussion it's an eirie quiet, like
the calm before a storm. THEBIGKOOK is making "Pigs in a Blanket" for the dawn patrol. Gotta' get over there and put on the feed bag before the grubs all gone. Oh yeah, that Starbuck's Special bled sure smells great. See you at the "Belmont"
