The SOSC BOD put on quite a spread, albiet
Haw'n Garden's, with the watery, thin,
gravy laden rice, and small chunks of
overcooked, soggy chicken without noodles.
This is when you wish the BOD was present
at Hawthorne Catapiller San Diego sponsored
a real "Beach Party" at Tourmaline Beach at
Paskowitz/Jennifer Tracy's Surfer's Healing
at PB. It was free, Tri-Tips cooked the way
they should be not chewy San Onofre style,
but the way they should be juicy and moist.
Poway style links, they too, snappy and plump,
tons of bugers with all the trimmings. Gallons of
cold soda washed everything down (including
Fritoes). It was easily the finest beach party ever
attened, all free. Yep, all free, no $25.00 a plate
Club surcharge. Hmmm.... I wonder why SOSC
never has any thing like this without charging
an arm and a leg. Btw, when's the next one?
