YOWZAH!

Well, here we are again. YOWZAH! the gang from
way back when. If this is overexposure, forgive us
because we want every living soul on this silly
planet of ours to view history how it was. Okay,
there's Wimpy Carlyisle, Won Hung Low, Mkilos
Chapin, a.k.a. Meatball, Francine Williams, 'Lover Boy', Hotshot, but no Wes Williams. Remember, where
were you in '52? Them folks used to sit on the beach
at da' Bu, get drunk, drive back to Brentwood, booze
it up all night long listening to Big Joe Housten, sleep
it off, wake up, break open an ice cold one, chug-a-lug,
and get back on the beach, and start all over again.
It sure was fun then, stumbling around the beach in
an alcoholic's stupor.

52??? I don't think so! Look at the boards and the age of Steak and Gidget. Pig board came latter, Some think different but that's the truth. Look at the pigment lay outs on the boards also. Did not come till mid 50'S. There is a pic at 21st St in Hermosa Taken Aug of 53 and the boards were Velzy,Cigar shapes. Pacific System Homes, Simmons against the shack in front of Bergstroms house. The Velzy boards had the first sticker used, round one. A little surf history.

Oh Yeah! We call the pigment jobs, Abstracts. We would start with the base color and then drip a stream of the new color out of a small cup and then run it with the brush. Added at least a pound, but they were cool??? I knew you wanted to know all of this???
