November 1st, construction begins on the long awaited Tent City at
Óld 'Nofre State Park, No. San Diego County. Óld 'Nofre will accept
any and all overnight visitors going to Mexico DF in a visitor exchange
program as a joint effort between President George Bush and El Presidente
Vincente Fox. The plans call for 20 20X30 comfort tents with parking
facilities, 2 cars per family. For sure, the SOSC BOD will protest this
family invasion, the reason is nobody wants statues, blankets, cheweng
gum, or anything else for sale on the dirt road. A midnight candelight vigil
is set for Thanksgiving Eve. Please bring protest signs and banners to
Old Man's along with canned goods to feed the insurgents. This looks
like a long and grueling uphill battle and it could get ugly.
