Talk about a "hornet's nest", you ain't seen nothing yet.
With all this racket about destruction of Clarke Foam and
the re-emergence of Walker Foam we went with 'KOOK
to Crown Valley Parkway ans Cabot Rd. in order to clear
the air. What we saw is a FSBO (for sale by owner) sign,
smack dab iin front of the old Clarke Foam bldg. Then
there was the shocking "SOLD BUT WE HAVE OTHERS"
attachment in bright red. The rep from the new owner
confirmed the property sold and will soon become a six
story muti-faceted commercial project, housing shops,
restaurants, Trader Joe's, and employment agencies.
Walker is planning a total monopoly in the foam market.
Ebay said they haven't sold one blank since all this turmoil
unfolded. A new player in this quagmire is shaper Gary
Linden, friend of all surfers. The scare tactics will subside
within 60 days when all things return to normal. This,
however, may be a great time to puchase for $35,000.00
each on Ebay the 25,000 individual excess blanks at auction.
